What is the process to dispose of waste at the Rumpke - Clermont County Transfer Depot?
- Customers enter the facility and pull onto the inbound scales located to the left of the building.
- Vehicles are weighed and provided with a price estimate.
- Customers will need to leave photo ID with scale attendant before proceeding.
- Customers then pull around the building and follow the operator’s directions on where to unload.
- Customers then unload material from vehicle directly onto the concrete floor.
- Once material is unloaded, customers pull out of the transfer and return to the Scalehouse, entering the outbound scale.
- The vehicle will then be weighed and final price provided.

The facility is open to residential, commercial and third-party customers.
Is there someone to assist with unloading material?
No. Customers must unload the material themselves.
